Our claims partner will charge our fee on a No Win, No Fee agreement*

This means you will not pay a fee if the claim is unsuccessful or they decide not to pursue a claim, due to lack of substantiated evidence.

You will be charged a fee for their service upon a successful claim and will depend on the gross compensation that is awarded. “Gross compensation” means the total amount awarded to you. It is also the amount paid before the deduction of any income tax due to HMRC on your award.

If your claim is successful, and when the firm, Ombudsman or FSCS, pay you, payment terms require you to settle their invoice without undue delay after receiving your compensation.

A claim will be deemed successful when an amount of compensation has been offered by the firm, Ombudsman service, or FSCS.

If successful, your fee will be calculated based on which band your redress falls into and will be charged by whichever is the lowest of: the maximum percentage rate of charge for that band, or the maximum total charge for that band.

The below table represents how the fees are calculated for each banding, the maximum percentage rate charged and maximum total charge for each banding.

Please note the above fee illustration is not to be taken as an estimate of the amounts likely to recovered. The fee that you will pay may be more than or less than the examples illustrated above.

Please note that if you have been subject to or become subject to a bankruptcy, a debt relief order, an IVA, sequestration or a similar arrangement, the compensation awarded might be used to offset this debt. If this is the case, you will still be liable for our fee as detailed above, and will have to, where necessary, pay thr fee from funds which are not subject to these arrangements. If you are a discharged bankrupt, it is possible that your creditors remain entitled to any future compensation you receive. Please contact your insolvency Practitioner if you are in any doubt.

If you have outstanding liabilities with the firm against whom the claim is to be made: any damages, compensation or settlement monies might, in certain circumstances, may be off set against those outstanding liabilities; and you will, where necessary, need to pay the fee from your own funds.

In relation to pension related claims, it is possible our fee may become payable before you have access to your pension; and you will, where necessary, need to pay our fee from your own funds.
